Biography

Lyes Salem was born in Algeria in 1971. He studied Modern Letters at the Sorbonne, then attended the Chaillot National Theater School and the Dramatic Arts National Conservatory. In 1998 he staged and acted in Djelloul le résonneur by Alloula. He has also appeared in films by Maurice Failevic, Benoît Jacquot and Hamid Krim. In 1999, the short, Jean-Farès, was his debut as a director. (FCAT)
