Biography
Adama Drabo was born in Bamako, Mali in 1948. After over ten years primary school teaching, Adama Drabo enters the Malian national center of film production in 1979 as a cameraman, through a test. He later served as Cheick OUmar Sissoko`s assistant director on two films, Nyamanton and Finzan.Thus his dream of working in the film domain became true. He attended a lot of trainings which built his capacities. In 1987, he started with "Niéba,la journée d`une paysanne"; then he made about ten short and feature films among which "Ta dona, au feu "; "Taafé Fanga; "Kokadjè", "Fanta Fanga".
