Otu Tetteh has appeared in films alongside well-known actors like Otto Waalkes, but otherwise played “either the token black or various foreign drug traffickers”, he told the Berliner Tagesspiegel, which reported: “As a filmmaker, the man is selftaught. Nevertheless, in his first short film DESS OR ALAIF, he managed to get into the Berlinale Panorama section in 2003. In the 15-minute film he shows with beats and quick cuts, how a foreigner escapes a gang of Nazis.” Since then he has made several short films and documentaries, including LIVE YOUR
