Biography

In the 70‘s Mahmoud Ben Mahmoud studied film at the Belgian school „Institut National Supérieur des Arts du spectacle et des techniques de diffusion“. He is the author of several documentaries, including a feature documentary film ONE THOUSAND AND ONE VOICE and three  feature films: CROSSINGS (1982), CHICH KHAN (1992) and GRENADINE SIESTAS (1999), all award winning in various international festivals. LE PROFESSEUR is his fourth film. Mahmoud Ben Mahmoud has taught scriptwriting since 1988 at the Free University of Brussels.
