Biography

Tutu Westerhoff was born in Sierra Leone as the daughter of diplomats and grew up in the USA, the UK and Germany. She discovered her love for music and singing at a very early age and became inspired by different cultures. In 2017, Tutu released her first Afro-Neo-Soul album as a singer and songwriter. The album title “My tree’s gonna grow” is symbolic of Tutu’s own journey. These words motivate her and give her strength in difficult as well as positive phases of life. Tutu is also a designer (MomentosBox). She aims to produce exclusively crafted products that help customers achieve a sustainable, unique, exciting and aesthetic home and lifestyle. At the 19th Africa Film Festival, she will be hosting the film talk on THE GRAVEDIGGER’S WIFE.
