Biography

Dr. Patricia Rodney has lived and worked in Guyana, Barbados, UK, Tanzania, Canada, and the USA, later on in Ghana, Nigeria, Uganda, Botswana, Lesotho and South Africa. As a seasoned public health professional, her career spans the disciplines of health, adult education, literacy, social work, women, gender and development. During her academic career, she has published several peer reviewed articles as well as her research “The Caribbean State, Health Care and Women: An Analysis of Barbados and Grenada 1979-1983”, Africa World Press,1998. She is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Morehouse School of Medicine and the CEO of The Walter Rodney Foundation established by the Rodney Family in 2006 in Atlanta, Georgia.
