Biography

Born in 1975 in Bobo-Dioulasso in Burkina Faso, Hervé Eric Lengani initially worked as an actor before moving to the
other side of the camera to work in various roles in film production. He has worked with many famous directors, such as
Dani Kouyaté (on OUAGA SAGA), Valérie Kaboré (INA 1 & 2) and Guy-Désiré Yameogo (DANSE SACRÉE À YAKA). He was also assistant director for Berni Goldblat’s feature WALLAY, which was screened in Cologne in 2017. He works closely
with Abdoulaye Dao, and their feature DUGA LES CHAROGNARDS won the African Critics’ Award at FESPACO 2019.
