C’EST NOUS LES AFRICAINS…EUX AUSSI ONT LIBERÉ L’ALSACE features contributions from North African veterans about their part in liberating Alsace (and with it Southern Germany) from the Nazi regime. 500,000 Africans fought on behalf of ‘Free France’ in 1944/45, some of them staying in Alsace after the end of the war.
