Abstract

In MUDANÇA, the actor and filmmaker Welket Bungué from Guinea Bissau addresses the discourse on how existing systems of oppression, sexism and racism – the ongoing after-effects of colonialism – need to change. He interweaves a passionate speech by Portuguese parliamentarian Joacine Katar Moeira with aesthetic and poetic elements, dance and performance, and music by Mú Mbana.
