Abstract

In AHLOU AL-KAHF, rappers Jojo M and Galâa recall the history of emigrants from the Tunisian mining region of Redeyef to French cities like Nantes, in a form resembling an open letter. Black-and-white images recorded with a Super 8 camera offer an appropriate, historically evocative illustration.
