Abstract

ART WAR is the story of young creative Egyptians who try to defend “their revolution“. Their means are graffiti murals, rebellious music, art, and political campaigns. The filmmaker documents the struggle of the Egyptian artists from the first protests in 2011 till the ousting of the islamist president Mursi and the take over of the military in 2013.
