Abstract

The short feature film takes place in the Moroccan coastal city of Safi, where many women work in a sardine factory to be able to feed their families. The unending work is paid piecemeal, and the conditions are tough. When Ranya’s mother falls ill, she takes her place at work, and must defend herself against harassment from her boss.
