Abstract

With short feature films, documentaries, and animations from six countries, FilmInitiativ invites guests on a cinematic journey across Africa – from the North, through the West and East, and into the South of the continent. The programme (a total of 159 minutes) shows productions mostly from young directors, many of them award-winning, highlighting how exciting, imaginative, and promising the current film scene in Africa truly is.
